Peter Jackson's The Fellowship of the Ring[]
In The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Aragorn is given a long, Elven dagger by Lord Celeborn in Lothlórien on the day the rest of the Fellowship received gifts from Celeborn and Galadriel. He uses it in a "sudden attack of orc-soldiers" at Amon Hen and in all following battles.
The Two Towers[]
In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, it is seen when Éowyn is training with a Rohirrim sword; Aragorn approaches parries the blade with his knife. It is later seen at the Battle of Helm's Deep.
The Return of the King[]
The dagger is last seen when Aragorn is fighting an armoured Troll at the Battle of the Black Gate: he stabs the Troll's foot with it when the creature has knocked him down and is stepping on him.
