The Angbor (meaning Doom-rock), also referred to as the Stone or the Halabor, was the judgment seat of the Moot-ring of Brethil in the First Age.

It was a large, flat stone upon which the Halad (the Chieftain of the Men of Brethil) would sit during trial sessions, and it was in the middle of the seat-filled ring. The accused would stand before the Angbor facing the chieftain and the assembly, as did Húrin Thalion during the 301st Folkmoot, before Hardang.
