Ammred was a man of the Second Age, who swore fealty to Adar after the fallen Elf's conquest of Mordor. He later followed those who escaped Adar to Pelargir, but was imprisoned by two Ents after he and his companions began clearing the forest. He eventually was released after the elf Arondir interceded.
Behind the scenes[]
The character was invented for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, first appears in Season Two, and as such is non-canonical. He is portrayed by Murray McArthur.
