Allan Curless (1950 - 1997) was an illustrator who contributed to two of David Day's Middle-earth books. He is predominantly known for being an artist for the publications of Brian Jacques' Redwall series (in which he drew the icons for each of the books' chapters) and contributing to books about animals in general. Besides officially licensed works, he is also known for Tolkien's World: A Fantasy Coloring Book (2016).
He was educated at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Design in England.
