Alison MIlbank, Ph. D. (born Alison Legg on October 10, 1954) is a British scholar of religion, culture, theology, particularly Christian theology. She preaches in the Church of England and teaches in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at University of Nottingham. Her articles on J.R.R. Tolkien have appeared in some works of Tolkien or Inklings studies, and her book Chesterton and Tolkien as Theologians was published in 2009, by T&T Clark.
