Alinel was either an infant of Númenor, or a figment of Míriel's imagination.
Biography[]
Queen Regent Míriel dreams of several children of Númenor being presented to her during the Blessing of the Children ceremony. Alinel's mother informs Míriel of her name, and the Queen Regent holds her close, just as she watches great waves crashing all over Númenor, threatening to sink the island beneath the waves. At that moment, Míriel is awoken from her dream.
Behind the scenes[]
Alinel was created for the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and is thus non-canonical. She is portrayed in The Rings of Power by an uncredited infant.
