Having fled with his people to the fortress of the Hornburg from Edoras, he was among those forced to defend the fortress from Saruman's army of Uruk-hai. He stood beside Haleth, son of Háma, where they witnessed the arrival of the Uruk-hai. Before the Uruk-hai began their attack, Aldor prepared to loose an arrow from his bow.
