Portrayal in adaptations
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Having fled with his people to the fortress of the Hornburg from Edoras, he was among those forced to defend the fortress from Saruman's army of Uruk-hai. He stood beside Haleth, son of Háma, where they witnessed the arrival of the Uruk-hai. Before the Uruk-hai began their attack, Aldor prepared to loose an arrow from his bow. However, he was unable to steady his hand and accidentally released the arrow, killing an Uruk, which preempted the attacking army's assault.
His fate in the subsequent Battle of the Hornburg is unknown.
