Albert Dreary was a Man of Bree during the Third Age.
Biography
In TA 2941, when Thorin II Oakenshield was visiting the Prancing Pony, Albert appeared walking out of a pub looking drunk and ate a part of a carrot.
Many years later in TA 3018, when Frodo Baggins and his companions went to visit the inn, Albert appeared once again eating a carrot and belched as they went past him.
Portrayal in adaptations
Albert Dreary was portrayed by Peter Jackson in The Fellowship of the Ring and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, who was the director of the film series. His name became identified at Internet Movie Database (IMDB) and the Middle-earth Role Playing card game.
