Biography[]
Írildë was the first child and only daughter of the nobleman Cemendur. She had only one sibling, a brother named Hallatan. Little of her life is known.
Etymology[]
"Írildë" is a compound Quenya name, likely from the elements írë, meaning "desire", and the feminine agental suffix -ldë.
