I ask because I've not seen it (I have no ways to now, as I no longer have Netflix), but I've heard that, to be discreet, it suffers from a similar problem to Rings of Power. Would you guys say that's accurate? If not, is any of the criticism the show got valid from a lore standpoint?

@Fandyllic I've never seen you pose your opinions as fact. On this wiki, I've only seen clear separations between fact and opinion, especially where lore is concerned

^ There were no singular sources, but mostly culture war YouTubers, and I don't know what the in-between analysis would be, as I've heard sharply opposing positions from each side, and this post was meant to basically find the truth of the matter, as it does look like a genuinely good film, but I just want to ensure that I do my research, and I do not know how to in an unbiased way beyond this
^ Mainly I mean how they treated the main character, as, without delving too deeply, I've heard that she is quite the girl boss, but not in the way Eowyn was, but rather, in the modern Hollywood fashion, and because it doesn't focus as much on characters like Helm, Frecca, Wulf, or other important characters from the time

My favorites are definitely the Gondorians because of their architecture and government, Numenor because of its history and religion compared to the rest of the Men, and the Easterlings because they look so mysterious, yet mystifying at the same time. Also because I like their fashion

I know that Tolkien wasn't the biggest fan of industrialization, but I am still curious because in most of the art that I've seen, Dwarven architecture is relatively advanced (with Men in second place), and that led me to wonder about the advancement of Tolkienien tech

I know that it's not totally accurate to the books because it doesn't show the Scouring of the Shire or Sam leaving for Valinod (among other things), but would you still consider the ending where the Hobbits return to the Shire still accurate to Tolkien's intentions? Personally, I would, because the whole thing plays like a veteran returning home from war, which Tolkien was in WW1
