Rings of Power is the biggest pile of drivel ever conceived ! Poorly written with no respect for Tolkien’s writings at all! Also halbrand is a made up character by Amazon as if there’s not enough characters in Tolkien’s works now they gotta make some up

Hobbit trilogy is worth watching but it’s nowhere near as good as the LOTR trilogy - so don’t expect it to feel the same watching it !
Not slow at all they are beyond doubt the greatest films ever made - makes Harry Potter look like a child directed them!! Prepare to be submerged into the most phenomenal world ever !!!

I also don’t think he’s a maiar - he was said to be in middle earth before the dark lord came from the outside ie morgoth - as the valar were the first to come from down to middle earth an bombadil was there before them he can’t be a maiar !
I don’t think Tom can be the valar Aule- Sauron I think was one of Aules maiar but so was Saruman- who he sent to help defeat Sauron- surely Aule as Tom would recognise the ring and be more active in its destruction - at the council Gandalf says Tom would be a most unsafe guardian of the ring coz he’d likely forget about it or throw it away !
I agree that Tom is the embodiment of the music of the ainur - I heard a theory that ungoliant is his opposite created at the same time through melkors discord! Might be nonsense but it’s a theory I kind of like!
And yet somehow Peter Jackson’s films are an absolute triumph and rings of power is a pile of dog sh**e

I wouldn’t even call TROP fan fiction! That implies that the writers of Trop were fans of lotr and Tolkien but after listening to them and the actors in interviews they clearly have no respect for his work!
