^ The elves leaving Mirkwood was mentioned in one of the appendices at one point, whenever Arwen decided to hop over there
As a Sindarin elf, I would assume that his preference would be to sail West, as Legolas did. We can only speculate, unfortunately.

I can definitely see this becoming a cult classic. While I'm not a huge fan of adapting Tolkien into the anime world, if you're a fan of it, I'm not going to be hard in anyone. I'll accept "pretty good" as a plausible takeaway.
^See, there, I thought the extra stuff added in The Hobbit extended editions were really dumb and overly convoluted the narrative.
You're good. Apparently I was the only one who didn't understand it lol.
That all depends on your perspective. Many people consider the theatrical cuts to be too slow and long too.
The extended editions tend to be more accurate to the books, and besides, who doesn't want more content. Not all of extra stuff is good, but most of it is.
Well, I don't know, I was kinda getting children-kidnapping vibes. 😂
At the very least, the premise was unclear. But I digress.
I may be the one who is confused, I don't know. I just don't understand why someone has to have a preference. I honestly could not tell you which language I use more often.
No surprise there. Polls that are confusing receive comments that are equally confusing.
Discussion and info, yes.
It does get a little toxic here sometimes, but you're right in that sometimes it's just some of us not putting up with the dumb stuff.
In reference to Crystal Vulpex's post, where I pushed back against the concept of the poll, a user should be able to put up with some criticism without taking offense, especially if the concept is communicated poorly.
Missing my point, not theirs. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough either lol.
No, you don't necessarily have to prefer one of the choices. That could certainly be the case, but it could just as easily depend on personal preference between certain words from certain languages. I don't have to prefer a certain language when it comes to referring to locations, although I certainly could. In other words, the poll would have to have some sort of "both" option to cover that, in which case it becomes irrelevant.
@Crystal Vulptex If you take issue with my comments, then you are perfectly free to not respond,
I think you're missing the point. I could use Westron names for some things and Sindarin names for others. The poll doesn't take that into account.
To be honest, the poll is kind of pointless. No one is required to only use either Westron names or Sindarin names for places. Also, not every location has both a Sindarin and Westron name.
It just depends on which name I prefer to use. I could use Rivendell for one place and Amon Sul for another.
It kind of depends.
Oh, I'm not offended at all. I was just confused.
