They were all amazing. I just wish they had shown boromir’s good side a little more, he’s kinda a jerk throughout the movie but he really isn’t so bad in the book.

This show has a lot to live up to, with the movies being so amazing, and the books perfection. I really feel like they cannot improve, and so the only direction to go is down. Nevertheless I believe that his show has potential, and I hope it will try to stay true to Tolkien’s work.

Nothing, but compared to the hobbit and lotr it is rather complex and a bit hard to comprehend at times. I have read it multiple times and I still have trouble remembering all of the events and names.

Start with the the hobbit, the silmarillion is a bit overwhelming at times. After the hobbit read lotr, then the silmarillon.
