For me I would love to live in the Shire because it is just a peaceful beautiful place where most characters do not go beyond their home and in a way it's just the sweet spot kind of like the heart of Middle-earth.

The movies especially The Hobbit are very inaccurate in relations to the plot of the book.

Honestly Legolas is a great character but he is very overrated. Bilbo, Frodo, and many other characters are very underrated. Bilbo, aragorn and gandalf are my personal favorites but all of them are great in their own way!

My favorite Tolkien book so far is the Hobbit. Ive read lotr and the hobbit and cant wait to continue reading the silmarillion because i read a little of it and had to return it. Plus the great tales and unfinished tales. My favorite lotr book is return of the king

The best order to read is first the silmarillion the children of hurin, beren and luthien, fall of gondolin, unfinished tales of numenor and middle earth, hobbit then lord of the rings
