I liked Tauriel in The Hobbit films though I know she's not in the book. Eowyn is my favourite lady from LOTR.

Watched the movies when I was too young but then when I was older the Hobbit movies kind of reignited my love of Middle Earth. So I read all the books.

That's a tough one. I like Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn & Pippin. It's hard to pick 1.
I like how he was represented in the films.
Bilbo Baggins is pretty iconic.
Sam carrying Frodo for sure. But I feel like there are so many more moments like that in the books.
I'm currently reading The Fellowship of the Ring and so far my favourite chapter is The Council of Elrond.

I was familiar with the movies since they were released but I've only recently started reading Tolkien's books. I like the way he writes fantasy and his world-building. I'm reading The Fellowship of the Ring right now and loving it.
