Overall was very impressed with the show so far, I think the good outweighs the bad and I know that things will pick up in season 2 which I can’t wait.
Part of me is still holding onto the hope that Sauron, disguised as Anatar has been in Eregion this entire time, manipulating the system and working with Celebrimbor. I really don’t want Halbrand to be Sauron, I’m hoping that he’ll either eventually be the king of Dunharrow that was cursed by Isildur or a Nazgul. If there was a perfect way to top off Season 1 for ROP, it would be that.
HOWEVER, a lot of major leaks point to him being Sauron.
I relate to the hobbits for my everlasting love of food.
Seeing as the show is expected to have 5 seasons, I’d be patient with the story just because there’s only been 5 episodes.

It’s been confirmed through Nerd Of The Rings' live interview with Rings of Power director Wayne Che Yip that the sword in this photo is in fact Narsil itself. The painting behind Galadriel also is a depiction of Beren prying one of the Silmarils from Morgoth’s crown. This show just keeps getting better and better.
I actually didn’t know that the show didn’t own the rights to the books for them, so then my theory goes out the window lol.
Interesting theory, but I disagree. I think he’ll turn out to be one of the Istari, possibly one of the Blue Wizards and hopefully not Gandalf. However if he turns out to be either Alatar or Pallando, then his partner (the other Blue Wizard) should be introduced in the series later on, it definitely wouldn’t feel right with only one and not the other.
I just have a weird feeling that’s not Sauron and I wouldn’t be so quick to assume just because slim shady looks evil lol
