The great deceiver wasn’t so great at deceiving after all then. Tendency to use the forge isn’t really a sign that he was Sauron given how many have that tendency.

@Timbo Harding they only things that is Canon is the books. Neither this series or the movies is Canon since they don’t follow the books.

For it to be canon it must follow exactly how it is portrayed in the books. For example the elven archers led by Haldir that come to Rohan’s aid isn’t in the books, Tom bombadil which is one of my favorites wasn’t in the movies and a few more. The reason they Changed Sauron’s disguise from Annatar to Halbrand was it would have been to obvious who that really was. One unnecessary addition was that Elendil had three children instead.

@Lord Maaar He doesn’t seem to plans of Grand conquest. He had orodruin erupt and conquered the Southlands otherwise known as Mordor.

@Timbo Harding it is only a job for the actors. If the writers did’nt respect Lotr how come they got so many things right or even better bothered?

@AdmiralZod1 Still no Adar is more of a steward to that title. I doubt he would hold any sway over any other orcs or even ologs. Both Morgoth and Sauron had a more commanding presence. Adar was created specifically for that show
