So, I did this on the Dragon Prince wiki too, and thought it was fun, so here you are: my headcanons on what characters in Tolkien's works might be autistic and things like their stims and special interests.

Legolas: Stims might be shifting from foot to foot, blinking rapidly, or rocking back and forth. I think his special interest is definitely either trees or elvish history.

Sam: Stims might be clapping hands or biting his lip, safe food is potatoes (PO-TA-TOES) and his special interest is types of flowers.

Finrod: Stims could be clicking fingers or fiddling with small rocks/hair ornaments etc, his special interest is dwarvish culture (he's also the kind of autistic person that is hyper-empathetic)

Faramir: Stims are humming or tapping in time with a rhythm (even if there's no music playing) and safe food is bread because bread is good :) Idk about special interests though, any ideas?

(Just to make it clear I am also autistic I'm not just assuming I know what I'm talking about)

Hi, I'm Estelle! I go by she/her pronouns, I'm autistic and love all things fantasy, especially Lord of the Rings.

My favourite characters are Sam, Gollum/Smeagol, Legolas and Gimli.

My favourite ship is Gimleaf.

I prefer the books to the films, but mainly because I didn't like how the films portrayed Legolas and Gimli's personalities.

My favourite one of the films is The Two Towers, but I love them all.

I've read The Hobbit, Unfinished Tales, The Lord of the Rings, and I'm reading The Silmarillion.

I'm currently learning to speak Sindarin Elvish (it's taking a long time though), so mae govannen, I guess!

Hi! I’m new to Fandom and i decided to pop in to the wiki about my favorite movies ever. My absolute favorite character is Legolas, as it says on the title, when i first watched The Hobbit i didnt really pay attention to him, but in lord of the rings i loved him, in two towers and return of the king i would wait for him to appear in the first time. Ive loved him since i was five years old soooooo yeah. I call him Elfie sometimes :) ignore my rambling of loving Elfie. I just wanted to say hi so I’m going to go read books now…….bye

I'm new on this wiki, I am a fantasy lover, and I absolutely LOVE Lord Of the Rings, the novels and the movies. I'd have to say my favorite character is probably Legolas, my favorite book\movie is The Two Towers, and honestly Galadriel creeps me out.

I prefer Sam over Frodo, I'm sorry but even though it was the ring's fault Frodo sometimes makes me mad the way he treats Sam. My favorite Hobbit(s) is definatly Pippin and Merry, I like the funny characters.
