So i am currently reading Silmarillion. The teen Glaurung showed up but then i had a question. As I remember, Melkor didn't have the power to create life; that's why he corrupted Elves into Orcs. But what is the origin of the dragons then? Did Iluvatar create evil creatures? If not, Melkor corrupted them from which creature? Or did Melkor create life?
So lately I've been seeing tons of Smaug fanart, so I was like "You know what? Let's give this a shot and see what we can make!". I set down like 2 hours ago and started drawing. At the Start I thought of Drawing Smaug or a Dragon that already exists. But then I decided to create something completely out of mind and put to test my sketching skills. I was between realism and the cartoony style, that I drew my last Trex with. But I decided to go with this style, because I find it more cute and cause I adore it on a personal level.

I lost my really dark B2 pencil, so my shadows weren't as dark as I expected them to be when I firstly started my drawing. Although I gotta say that I'm really satisfied with the results.
