The truth is that there are two, and that's all there will ever be. Hitler haunted this world for a mere decade. Stalin died in a puddle of his own urine after ruling his country for a few decades. Gengeis had the longest reign and control out of them all, but regardless, Sauron's corruption controlled several Empire's that would make the Mongolians blush. Sauron was a hyperpotent, Universe level God who nearly conquered the world twice, and commanded a army of nightmarish power. Morgoth created evil, Sauron's power was divine, and these fools on this poll simply continued Morgoth's work. To be a Dark Lord, you must be above Darkness itself.
For your other poll about cities, please follow the Guidelines and put "...and why?" in your caption, to more likely stimulate actual discussion in the comments. (Since polls can't be edited on Fandom, you'll have to remake it.)
@HiddenVale Okay. I'll remember that for next time. My apologies.
@Immediate need thanks for the unnecessary history recap as well as one of the most pretentious comments I've ever seen 👏🏼
^ can you explain why you're so upset?
@Bonovick19 you're welcome BTW it took a few minutes from me. I appreciate your support.
I'm not even remotely upset, let alone 'so upset'. Sarcastic quips don't usually equate to one being upset. Unnecessary rants like yours do though. Go smoke a bowl
@Bonovick19 What "unnecessary rant" are you talking about? Immediate need has made no rant in this thread. A short exposition comparing the villains pictured in the post to Morgoth & Sauron is not a rant.
Bonovick19 why are you insulting a literal kid? Your "sarcastic quip" was obviously done out of anger, I mean, it didn't seem like a light-hearted joke. Thus you are obviously upset about something he said, since you rarely ever comment so it would be odd if you just randomly decided to. That's why the dude called you "so upset", because you obviously had gotten angry about something. HiddenVale also makes a good point. Mr. Need was simply stating how none of the dictators would realistically be Dark Lords in the Universe created by Tolkien. That's all. The statement is a perfectly sound answer to the question. I don't get how you think need's asserting more intelligence or culture by making such a simple statement, and supporting it with solid evidence. If there's something you dislike, how about actually explaining it?
Just gonna throw my hat in the ring here. I do respect Immediates comment, truly. I was more pointing out since that Tolkien's world and ours are connected somehow, then any one of these dictators and their evil deeds could bring them closer to being recognized as the next Dark Lord. I KNOW they aren't or never will be entirely worthy of it, but I was wondering whether any of them could be considered a Dark Lord outside of Morgoth and Sauron. That's all I was saying.
So please, there's no need to argue in this discussion.
What do you think?
