Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like there is no romance between them being pushed. Yes they kissed in Adar's camp but that was a distraction for when he gave her the pin to break free with. Other than that I feel like their relation is pretty sour other than mutual respect for their respective ranks/position in elvendom.

Isn't Galadriel Elrond's aunt as he and his brother were adopted by Maglor and Maehdros (i can't spell RIP) thats really really questionable if i am right about the family connection 💀

There is no Celebrían. Or Celeborn.

^Actually, as stated in S1, E7 (I think), he died.

Can't recall which interview, but the showrunners specifically said that Celeborn is alive and will appear at some point in the show; Galadriel only believes he is dead.

Does that mean his absence makes sense? Not at all...

Celeborn and Galadriel marry real early in the story.

They should be married for a while by The Rings Of Power, and have kids before the Fall of Khazad Dûm.

I hope this show becomes Legends like they did with Star Wars... 😒

They are married during Rings of Power, but Celeborn is presumed dead.

But until he appears, we can't really know. It also doesn't explain the lack of Celebrian and no mention of Lothlórien.

Also, the kiss is superfuous, they could have hugged, touched foreheads, or any number of other things to distract Ada, but the kiss was clearly meant to signal not just a distraction. That said, the kiss was quite low on the lore deviations list.
