Just curious as to how you feel about Isildur’s sister thus far in the series?

Good character
Meh... she has potential, but more seem like a plot device right now.
Sad they decided to make her a silly fascist.
@Andre Hawke Shame they made her an interesting character? She's horrible—don't get me wrong—but a fascist who gets their comeuppance is among the most satisfying things you can see.
@Andre Hawke and @FH2104 Why do you say she is a fascist?
And why do you feel she is a horrible person?
Why is she in the show I hate her.
I personally think Earien brings absolutely nothing to the plot and the show in general. Her performance is uncompelling, like most of the Numenorean actors, and if she is removed entirely, nothing about the show changes in the slightest. Not too hard to come up with another way to put Pharazon on the throne; certainly better than what was done. That coronation scene was the most forced affair I've seen in RoP so far.
I personally have a low opinion of Earien because of her choices. While her grief is understandable, she is going by it in very selfish ways and it’s clear her actions are driven more by revenge and greed rather than any mourning for Isildur’s presumed death.
While I don’t see her as a fascist per se, it’s clear she is power hungry and selfish, and that she takes pleasure in seeing her father and those loyal to the Queen being humiliated and suffering
Do you all think she will sink with the rest of Númenór
Do you feel her actions are justified?
What do you think?
