I guess the complaints of Tolkien fans did not get through.

Actually, I didn't mind The Rings of Power, but it is clear that 1. There were some issues, and 2. The majority of fans, especially major Tolkien fans, did not like the show.
^ But did you $300 to $450 million like the show? I'm pretty sure that money could have been put toward something much better.
No, I did not 300-450 million like the show.
It's actually kind of weird, I went into the show expecting to hate it, and the intro actually really surprised me, and set my expectations higher for the rest of the show. I then spent the remaining 7 hours desperately trying to like and justify everything that I was seeing, but by episode 7 I was ready to give up. The finale helped a little bit, but I ended with very mixed feelings.
In all truthfulness, after The Hobbit films missed the mark (i.e. story) so hard, I’ll never view another adaptation unless communities like this one wholeheartedly love it….and RoP obviously isn’t widely loved so not wasting my time, and money, to fuel Jeff Bezos’ super car, jet, mega yacht, or space craft idk.
So far, you're not missing much if you skip TRoP. They diverge enough from the source material, that if you haven't read it, you will get a bucketload of misinfo from TRoP. That said, I think about 30% or so is pretty good, the problem is you need to sift through the episodes to get to it.
Im still waiting for annatar to show
^ He was supposed to show up before the 3 rings were forged, but you will probably get your wish eventually. Knowing the show runners they will change the name to Tar-annauhanta or something like that.
I figured he'd show up as Annatar to finish the rings he started with Celebrimbor
Yeah a Similarion movie franchise in live action
^ Uhh... what is that in response to?
What do you think?
