@Fandyllic Interesting, thanks!
Noldor for me, their storyline is so interesting and have such interesting characters! :)
I know! Pretty much all of my favorite characters are Noldor. I’m probably most like them, though I’m slightly Telerin. The Vanyar are far above me ;)
Yes that indeed, feanor, fingolfin, galadriel etc. All Noldor :D
And Glorfindel and Fingon too! :D
It’s interesting to know more about characters’ backstories; for example, how Galadriel was Fëanor’s niece. (I wonder what she thought of her cousins… ;)
Galadriel has a very long history. Probably the longest history of any elf in Middle-earth who was born in Valinor. Her time in Middle-earth is only surpassed by Círdan, the famed shipwright who was among the first elves and did not travel to Valinor until the Fourth Age on the last ship.
Galadriel was also extremely well traveled. During the First Age she mostly dwelt in the famed grey elven city of Menegroth in Doriath. She visited her brother's city of Nargothrond many times. In the Second Age she dwelt initially in Lindon under the rule of Gil-galad, but then eventually founded the realm of Eregion with Celeborn near Moria. Before the coming of Sauron, she gave rule of Eregion over to Celebrimbor and moved to Lothlórien. In the Third Age she visited Rivendell many times. She left for the Grey Havens before the end of the Third Age and returned to Valinor.
Yes the story of Galadriel is very cool!
She is I think the last elf in middle earth (who really lived there) to have seen the light of the threes (in the movie the reflection of the threes is also shown in her eyes)
Btw fun fact about Cirdan, he was the only one to have actually carried 2 rings of power at a time (2 elven rings).
Having 2 rings is a responsibility…!
Círdan seems like he would be super chill. He's one reason I'd like to be Teleri.
What do you think?
