Hey! Can anyone help me with which books I should start reading first? Do I start with Silmarillion? And what comes after?
Start with the the hobbit, the silmarillion is a bit overwhelming at times. After the hobbit read lotr, then the silmarillon.
Start with the hobbit or the Lord of The Rings. But whatever you do, don't start with the Silmarillion.
Whats so bad about the simillarion
Nothing, but compared to the hobbit and lotr it is rather complex and a bit hard to comprehend at times. I have read it multiple times and I still have trouble remembering all of the events and names.
