Okay, so I know how she's like the biggest badass ever. But why are a new character? I realise there's be literally no female characters in the series but it bugs me that they just made a fake, non existent, love interest for Kili. It doesn't do anything for their character advancement. They could've just added Tauriel but with no love involved.
