If the Lord of the Rings movies were remade, would you watch them? I’m not sure I would be able to watch them.

@SassyGryffinclaw YEESSSSSS!!!!!!
If I were given this project, a major change I would make, would be the portrayal of Gondor. Gondor is supposed to be a symbol of everything that's good about humanity, yet it's history is full of imperialism. Now today, imperialism is not looked upon fondly. After all, if someone came to your doorstep and said "We own this place now and we're telling you what to do.", you wouldn't like that. I'd also portray Gondor's decline not as a result of liberal policies, but as the price they paid for their history. By the end of it all, Elessar promises that he will not repeat the mistakes of Isildur, or of any of Gondor's Kings. Rather instead, he will take Gondor and Arnor down a different path that will lead to greater days of glory then before.
I would ask people if it was good before i watched it
It has more references with the book than YES OF COURSE!!!!!
I would watch them
Never. The first films were so good it would be a disgusting insult to remake them.
Maybe if they did the osgiliath part correctly.
If Bloom is in the remake yes if not no
I think that it would depend. If it was 100% based on the book (and had Glorfindel) then I might, but I feel like the New Line Cinema ones are perfectly fine the way they are and those are the ones I am so used to watching. :)
I might not enjoy it, because it just depends but I would still watch it for sure to see what it is like.
What do you think?
