Is there any references or quite to show that Eönwë fought Morgoth at the War of Wrath?
@Josh Zimmermann, in The Peoples of Middle-earth, "The History of the Akallabêth", Christopher Tolkien writes that in the final version Ëonwë ultimately conquered Morgoth in The War of Wrath. Hope this helps!
